Leather, made responsibly. From chrome-free tanning to closed-loop water systems, every choice we make is measured against one standard: the health of the planet.
"We believe the finest leather and the lightest footprint are not a contradiction; they are the same craft, done right."
Our closed-loop tannery system recirculates over 85% of process water. A zero-liquid-discharge effluent plant treats every litre before reuse or release, exceeding Tamil Nadu PCB standards by a factor of two.
We eliminated Chrome VI completely in 2020 and shifted to vegetable and aldehyde tanning for our eco-range. All chemicals are mapped against ZDHC MRSL Level 2, ensuring nothing hazardous enters our supply chain.
Leather offcuts are shredded for bonded leather and packaging material. Tannery sludge is converted into biogas and agricultural soil amendment. Our target: zero production waste to landfill by 2027.
Solar panels installed in 2022 now provide 40% of facility electricity. We are commissioning wind-sourced PPAs to reach 80% renewable by 2026 and carbon-neutral operations by 2030.
Yes. We source hides exclusively from FSSAI-certified abattoirs in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. Each batch carries a provenance document linking it to the slaughterhouse lot, the tanning date, and the finishing run. Buyers can request the full chain-of-custody report for any order.
Our vegetable-tanning drum capacity currently handles 35% of production volume. Minimum order quantities for veg-tan runs are 500 sq. metres per colour. Lead times extend by approximately 10 days versus chrome-tan equivalents. We recommend discussing your spec with our technical team before committing to a volume.
Every production lot is tested for Chrome VI, azo dyes (restricted under REACH Annex XVII), formaldehyde, pH, and heavy metals (cadmium, lead, mercury) by an accredited third-party lab. Test reports are issued within 5 working days of shipping and are included in the export documentation.
All process water passes through our on-site CETP (Combined Effluent Treatment Plant) before reuse or controlled discharge. We operate two-stage biological treatment followed by reverse osmosis polishing. Discharge parameters are logged continuously and reported monthly to the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board: we exceed their standards by a factor of two across all monitored parameters.
Yes. We publish an annual Sustainability Data Sheet and can provide an LWG audit summary, ZDHC conformance certificate, energy and water intensity metrics, and our GHG inventory on request. NDA-covered deep-dives are available for brands conducting formal supplier assessments. Contact us with your due-diligence questionnaire and we will respond within 5 business days.
